West Indies ready to face India’s challenge, Captain Pooran claimed this

West Indies Vs India: The three-match ODI series between India and West Indies is going to start from July 22. After suffering a 3-0 defeat in the ODI series against Bangladesh, it is not going to be easy for West Indies to face a strong team like India. But West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran has expressed hope that his team will be able to give a tough challenge to India.

During the IPL this year, West Indies star player Kiran Pollard had announced to leave the captaincy of the team. After this Nicholas Pooran was made the captain of the West Indies team in the limited overs.

Nicholas Pooran said, “Team India has many players who can fulfill their responsibility. India has players who can win matches with bat and ball. But we are ready to challenge them. This will also send SMS messages to the whole world. As a group we are no less.

Puran made this claim

Star all-rounder Jason Holder has returned to the West Indies team for the ODI series. Pooran said, “We are trying to create the right mindset for ODI cricket. When we will be able to do this then all will be well. We have to play every format accordingly.

Let us tell you that most of the players of the West Indies ODI team are going through poor form at the moment. Last year, however, West Indies defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in the ODI series. But earlier this year, West Indies had to face a crushing defeat against India.

Ravi Shastri suggested to reduce the work load on the players, said – reduce the T20 series
