The Broken News: Actress Sonali Bendre is going to make her OTT debut with a web series named ‘The Broken’. This series will be released on Zee5. It is the Hindi version of the popular British series ‘Press’, directed by award-winning director Vinay Vaikul, featuring a well-known talented ensemble cast like Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Indranil Sengupta, Taruk Raina, Akash Khurana, Kiran Kumar. Its original UK series – Press was created and written by award-winning writer Mike Bartlett (Dr. Foster, King Charles III), and is a Lookout Point, BBC Studios and Deep Indigo production co-produced with Masterpiece. It was telecast in 2018 on both BBC One in the UK and PBS Masterpiece in the US, with the original series set in the print newsroom rather than the TV newsroom.
