Shock to Ameesha Patel in Check Bounce Case, High Court dismissed the petition of the actress

Ameesha Patel Fraud Case: Film actress Ameesha Patel, who is facing trial for cheating a Ranchi man of Rs 5 crore, has suffered a major setback. He had filed a petition in the Jharkhand High Court seeking quashing of the case, but the court rejected his petition on Thursday.

Actually, Ranchi resident film producer Ajay Kumar Singh alleges that Amisha Patel has cheated her by offering to invest money in films. He had filed a case against the actress in the court of Ranchi regarding this. According to Ajay Kumar Singh, in 2017, Amisha had come to a program at Harmu Housing Colony in Ranchi. During this he met the actress. Ameesha offered him to invest money in films. He gave five crore rupees to Ameesha for a film named Desi Magic. When she asked for the money back when the film was shelved, Amisha gave a check of three crores, but it bounced. Against this complaint on behalf of Amisha, a crushing petition was filed in the High Court.

On Thursday, the matter was heard in the Jharkhand High Court in the court of Justice SK Dwivedi. Senior advocates RS Majumdar and Inderjit Sinha, appearing for the actress in the court, said that Ajay Kumar Singh had invested money in the film, so he is liable for profit as well as loss. The matter of dealing with the actress has already been settled. On the other hand, the petitioner’s lawyer GK Sinha said that the cases of fraud related to actress Ameesha Patel are going on in many courts across the country. In such a situation, relief cannot be given to them. The court dismissed the squashing petition after hearing both sides.
