Ranveer Singh’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ in trouble, the matter reached the court regarding the scene, the court said this

The Delhi High Court on Monday expressed concern over the sex determination scene in the trailer of Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and asked the producers to not regularize the illegal practice. can be shown and cannot be made insignificant. A bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi asked Yash Raj Films to show the relevant portions of the film. The bench said the “overall message” may be good, but it cannot be shown that a pregnant woman can be taken to a clinic with a sonogram machine to ascertain the sex of the fetus.

The bench was hearing a PIL seeking removal of certain scenes from the film. The bench also includes Justice Navin Chawla. The film is scheduled to release on May 13. After watching the trailer of the film, the bench said, “You take instructions, otherwise we will have to stop.”

“You can see that there is no reason to show that the woman is taken in secret or that it is not legal or that the actor (in the scene) knows that it is an offence,” the bench said. What is emerging is that any pregnant woman can be taken to a center with a sonogram machine and this can be done normally.

The court said that it should be depicted in a way that they are aware (that it is illegal) but even after that it is being done. Senior advocate Jayant Mehta, appearing for the filmmakers, submitted that “the film is about something illegal” and a ‘disclaimer’ has also been given regarding the law.

Central government counsel Anurag Ahluwalia said the trailer was certified by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) and the filmmakers were asked to put up a “disclaimer”. The court said the trailer could not have been taken into account because of the size of the “disclaimer” and “does not depict the circumstances in which the woman is taken to the clinic”.

Advocate Pawan Prakash Pathak, appearing for the petitioner ‘Youth Against Crime’, argued before the court that the film cannot promote ultrasound technology as a means of sex determination as it is illegal by law. The next hearing in the case is to be held today.

At the trailer launch of Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar said – people don’t know anything about history, surprisingly…
