New Zealand team announced for Test series against England, these players got place

NZ-Eng Test Series: The New Zealand team has been announced for the three-match Test series against England. Captain Kane Williamson has returned to the team. Williamson has been away from international cricket since November 2021. The Test series between New Zealand and England will be played in June.

The selectors have also given a chance to some new players in the team. All-rounder Michael Bracewell, who made his debut in T20 and ODI cricket this year, has got a place in the team. Wicketkeeper Cam Fletcher, pacer Blair Tickner and opener Hamish Rutherford have been included in the 20-man squad.

Apart from this, spinner Rachin Ravindra has also returned to the team. Tim Southee, Trent Bold and Henry Niklas have managed to make it to the team. The Test series between the two teams will start from June 2. The first match of the series will be played at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Let us tell you that the Kiwi team had toured England last year as well. In the 2-match test series, they won 1-0. After defeating England, New Zealand defeated India in the final of the World Test Championship. Out of 15 players who were part of the Kiwi team in the WTC final, 13 players have got a place in the team for the three-match Test series against England.
