IPL 2022: These bowlers are in the race for the Purple Cap, three Indians in the top-5

IPL 2022 Purple Cap: In this season of IPL, Rajasthan Royals bowler Yuzvendra Chahal is on top in terms of taking wickets. Purple cap is adorned on his head. He has been keeping the purple cap with him for the last 5 weeks. However, now RCB’s Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has come very close to Chahal in the race for the Purple Cap. He is just one wicket behind Chahal.

Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has bowled 44 overs in 11 matches so far this season. In this, he has given runs per over at an average of 7.25 and has taken 22 wickets with a bowling average of 14.50. That is, after spending every 14 runs on an average, Yuzvendra has definitely got a wicket. On the other hand, Vanindu is in second place with 21 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav, Kagiso Rabada and T Natarajan are also included in this race of Purple Cap.
