India’s fourth gold in deaf Olympics, Dhanush and Priyasha got success

Dhanush Srikanth and Priyesha Deshmukh: India has got another big success in the ongoing 24th Deaf Olympics in Brazil. The pair of Dhanush Srikanth and Priyasha Deshmukh won the gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Shooting event here. With this gold medal, India has got a total of 4 gold medals in this tournament.

On the sixth day of the Olympics, Dhanush and Priyasha defeated Germany’s Sebastian Hermeny and Sabrina Eckert 16-10 in a gold medal match. This is Dhanush’s second gold in this Olympics. Earlier, Dhanush won gold with a record score of 247.5 in the 10m Air Rifle Shooting event on the third day of the Deaf Olympics. Bronze medal also came in India’s account in this event. India’s Shaurya Saini had secured the third position with a score of 224.3.

4 Gold 2 Bronze for India so far
India also won gold in the 10m air pistol shooting event in this deaf Olympics on Friday. Abhinav Deswal won this medal. After this, Vedika Sharma also won a medal in the 10 meter air pistol shooting event. He got the bronze medal. India has also got gold in the badminton team event of this Olympics. On the third day, the Indian team won the gold here by defeating Japan 3-1 in the final. At present, the Indian team has won four gold and two bronze medals here.
