Due to the prevailing favorable monsoon conditions, rains are continuing in many parts of Mumbai. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning and ordered the evacuation of dilapidated buildings.

The IMD on Tuesday forecast that heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds may occur in parts of Mumbai, Raigad, Thane, Palghar, Pune, Nashik and parts of Marathwada in central Maharashtra.
