The special thing is that after this controversy till the removal of blue tick and coming back, the number of people following these celebrities has appeared to increase. Talking about the number of followers of Sangh Pramukh Mohan Bhagwat, it was 207.9K when the blue tick was removed, while it increased to 214.3K by the time the blue tick came back. In this way, the number of people who followed Bhagwat increased by about six lakh 40 thousand. Something similar was also seen in the case of Venkaiah Naidu. Naidu had 1.2 million followers when the blue tick was removed. At the same time, when the blue tick came back, this number increased to 1.3 million.
Removing the blue tick from Twitter means that the company has unverified that account. The blue tick has been removed from the Twitter handle of many RSS leaders including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. It is believed that Mohan Bhagwat has not tweeted a single tweet from his Twitter handle, so the blue tick has been removed from his handle.
Twitter account created in 2019, not a tweet yet
Let us tell you that Mohan Bhagwat had created his Twitter account in the year 2019 and till now no tweet has been made from his personal Twitter handle. Before Mohan Bhagwat, the blue tick was removed from the personal Twitter handles of RSS leaders Suresh Soni, Suresh Joshi and Arun Kumar.
Twitter removes blue ticks based on rules
In fact, according to Twitter’s rules, it is necessary to log in and update the profile every six months to keep the account active. At the same time, after removing the blue tick from the Twitter account of Venkaiah Naidu, it was clarified by Twitter that the Twitter handle of Venkaiah Naidu was not logged in in the last six months.
Twitter accepted new guidelines
Let us tell you that Twitter has agreed to accept many new guidelines on social media of the Government of India. Recently, Twitter told the Delhi High Court that it has complied with the Information Technology (Intermediate Guidelines and Digital Media Code of Conduct) Rules, 2021 and on May 28 itself, it has also appointed a Grievance Officer.
