Many good news is coming for India from Tokyo Olympics. Mirabai Chanu has won silver medal in the weightlifting competition of 49 kg category. She has become the first Indian player to win a medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics.
There is an atmosphere of celebration in the country on this achievement of winning a medal in the Olympics. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Mirabai Chanu for winning a silver medal in the Olympics. In his congratulatory message, PM Modi said, “It can’t be a better start, India is elated by his stellar performance, his success inspires every Indian.”

Chanu was expected to have a medal in this event, on which she lived up to it. He lifted 87 kg in the 49 kg category, and 115 kg in the clean and jerk category. In this way he lifted a total of 202 kg.
