Shares of ICICI Bank reached the highest level
Shares of ICICI Bank reached the highest level of 687.80 during trading. It had closed at 676.65 in the previous session. The market capitalization of ICICI Bank at present is Rs 4,68,708.34 crore. The bank’s standalone net profit grew 78 per cent to Rs 4616 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2021-2022. Whereas in the same period a year ago it was Rs 2599.2 crore. This gave rise to the share today.
Market will be affected by these factors this week
The direction of the domestic stock market will be decided by the quarterly results of the companies and the global trend this week. According to analysts, investors will also be watching the decision of the US Federal Reserve on the interest rate. Apart from this, investors will also watch this week on crude oil prices, volatility of rupee against dollar and investment trend of foreign institutional investors.

Talking about the big stocks, after the day’s trading, the shares of SBI Life, Bajaj Finserv, Hindalco, Divis Lab and UltraTech Cement closed on the green mark. On the other hand, shares of Wipro, SBI, Reliance, JSW Steel and BPCL closed on the red mark.
Keeping an eye on the sectoral index
If we look at the sectoral index, today all sectors except media, metal, IT and pharma closed on the decline. These include auto, bank, finance service, PSU bank, private bank, realty and FMCG.
The market was open on the red mark
The stock market was open on the red mark in early trading. The Sensex opened at the level of 52804.88, down 170.92 points (0.32 per cent). Nifty opened at 15811.30 with a decline of 44.70 points (0.28 per cent).
Sensex-Nifty closed on the green mark on the last trading day
On the last trading day, the Sensex closed at 52,975.80, up by 138.59 points, or 0.26 per cent. On the other hand, Nifty closed at 15,856.05 with a gain of 32.00 points.
