Terrorist organizations Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are conspiring to blast and drop weapons in Jammu and Kashmir division through drones. They have a good number of drones. The series of drones (hexa-copter) shot down in Kathua before Jammu is confirming this. Jaish-e-Mohammed has assembled several drones of the same series.

In the last one-and-a-half years, 16 AK-47 rifles, three M-4 rifles, 34 pistols, 15 grenades and 18 IEDs were recovered through drones. There were two drones through which money was sent, from which 4 lakh rupees have been recovered. Many people have been arrested. This was stated by Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh. Singh said the police had received a specific input that the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed was planning to drop a payload through a drone near Akhnoor.
