Jammu And Kashmir News: Schools, Colleges And Universities Will Remain Closed Till July 31, Weekend Curfew Lifted In 16 Districts

Schools, colleges and universities in the state will remain closed till July 31. In this regard, under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta, the State Executive Committee of Disaster Management Department issued new guidelines on Sunday. However, in view of the improvement in the corona scenario, permission has been issued to open bars and restaurants up to 50 percent of the total capacity from 7 am to 10 pm.

16 districts of the state including Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Rajori, Kishtwar, Ramban, Udhampur, Anantnag, Bandipora, Baramulla, Budgam, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian will get relief from the weekend curfew. However, the night curfew will continue from 8 pm to 7 am. Indoor sports complexes and gyms will also be open to people who have got vaccinated or brought negative reports with 50 percent capacity. Swimming pools will remain closed.

Vaccinated people will be able to go to the paid park
Paid public parks will also open only for people who have got the vaccine. Only people who have been vaccinated in bars and restaurants and those with rapid antigen or RTPCR negative reports that are not more than 48 hours old will be allowed to enter.
