The attack of Corona continues on the cricketers of the Indian cricket team who went to Sri Lanka. Now two more players of Team India, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gautam have been found infected. Both these players were among the eight cricketers who were quarantined. Earlier, all-rounder Krunal Pandya became Corona positive on July 27.

It is now clear that Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gautam will be staying in Sri Lanka along with those six players. Who was separated from the team before the second T20. While the rest of the Indian team is returning to India immediately after the end of the three T20 match series.

Apart from Chahal and Gautam, the six players who will stay in Sri Lanka in view of the suspicion of corona infection include Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Prithvi Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav, Manish Pandey, Deepak Chahar, Ishan Kishan. On July 27, after Krunal Pandya was found corona infected, he was isolated. While the remaining eight players were kept in the team hotel.

India suffered a humiliating defeat against Sri Lanka in the third T20 International match played on 29 July. In this match, the hosts defeated India by 7 wickets. Team India, playing first in the third match, scored 81 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Sri Lanka’s team achieved this target in 14.3 overs. India was defeated by the hosts 2-1 in this T20 series.
