Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education will not declare the 10th class exam result today. The board has postponed the result due to some issue going on in the High Court. Education Board’s Public Relations Officer Anju Pathak said that the case of some students is under consideration in the High Court, regarding which the board has received instructions not to declare the results today. The result will be declared as soon as the instructions are received from the High Court.

It is worth noting that the board has set seven criteria for preparing the results of the 10th class candidates. In these, the result has been prepared by evaluating the paper of the ninth class, practical, internal assessment, first and second term exam, pre-board and Hindi subject taken by the board.

However, the state government has already promoted the students to the next class. It is to be noted that there are 1,31,902 candidates in Matric, out of which 1,16,973 are regular and 14,929 belong to SOS.

Last year, the Board of Education had declared the 10th class result on June 9. The state’s examination result was 68.11 percent. In the 10th class annual examination, Tanu, a student of Ishan Public Senior Secondary School, Samloti, district Kangra, topped the entire state with 98.71 (691/700) per cent marks. The first three places in the merit list were three girls and two boys out of five students.
