Rain and landslides have wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh. Roads are closed at many places in the state due to landslides, Chandigarh-Manali National Highway-3 is closed in Mandi district. According to the information, Chandigarh-Manali National Highway-3 is temporarily closed due to landslide near Pandoh area of Mandi district. Mandi Police says that the restoration work of the highway is going on.
Mandi Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri says that the highway is closed since last night. A vehicle parked on the road was also damaged after being hit by a stone. There is a long queue of vehicles on National Highway-3 and traffic is being diverted via Kataula through an alternate route.
Apart from this, a nine-year-old girl has been injured when a dam collapsed due to rain in the capital Shimla. At the same time, Dara fell due to rain near Ruldu Bhatta. Thankfully no one got hit by it.
