On Friday, Dr. VK Paul, Chairman of the Immunization Empowered Group, said that Moderna was given emergency use two weeks ago. Right now it is in process. Talks are going on with the US government. Correspondence has been made to meet certain legal regulations. For the time being, it can be assumed that the first batch of Moderna Vaccine may arrive in India anytime.
In fact, America has decided to donate about 7 million doses of Moderna to India. When the Central Government got information about this, the application was made to the company. Soon after, the Drug Controller General of India also allowed the Moderna Vaccine for emergency use.
With this, Moderna also became the fourth Kovid vaccine of the country, but even after giving permission, India has not received a single consignment of this vaccine.
Earlier, while issuing a statement, the US government said that there is a delay on the part of the Indian government. They have a consignment of vaccine ready. If they get a reply from India soon, the consignment will be released.
