Delhi Pollution Control Committee has taken a big decision on Saturday to curb noise pollution. Penalties for violation of rules have been amended. In this, a fine of Rs 10,000 for noise through loudspeaker or public address system, Rs 1 lakh for diesel generator set of more than 1000 KVA, Rs 50,000 for noise emitting construction equipment.
