A heartbreaking case has come to light in Balrampur. The family members of the corona victim who was carrying the body were thrown from the Sisai Ghat of Rapti river on the Tulsipur highway into a river during the rains on Saturday afternoon. The video of the case went viral and stirred the administration and health department.

After which ADM AK Shukla handed over the investigation to the CMO. CMO doctor VB Singh said that after investigation, it has been found that Prem Nath Mishra, resident of Siddharth Nagar district of Shohratgarh district had trouble breathing on May 25. His nephew Sanjay Kumar had admitted Premnath to the District Joint Hospital for treatment. Prem Nath died on 28 May during treatment. On the afternoon of 29 May, Premnath’s body was received by nephew Sanjay Kumar under the Corona Protocol.

While taking the body home, Sanjay Kumar and his companion threw the dead body from the bridge into the Rapti River amid the rain and escaped. While throwing the body, some people passing through the car made a video of the incident. The video is shocking to human sensations.

A case has been registered in the countryside police station against Sanjay Kumar and his unidentified partner under the Pandemic Act. Countryside Kotwal Vidyasagar Verma said that the accused are being searched.
