With all the necessary precautions to prevent corona infection, Delhi Metro once again returned on track from Monday. Commuters also heaved a sigh of relief with the launch of Delhi’s lifeline. The metro started running with 50 percent capacity from morning itself, but on the very first day some passengers were seen standing and traveling in the metro. Thermal screening before traveling in the metro, after sanitization, only passengers wearing masks got a chance to enter the station.
Traffic jam was also seen on the roads of Delhi. A long queue of vehicles leaving the office was seen on Shankar Road in the evening. At the same time, there was silence in the market called the heart of Delhi on the first day of unlock. All the big showrooms here were seen open, but there were no customers, only employees.
