2-DG: Lee Pharma Company ties up with IICT

DRDO and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories jointly developed this drug recently. This drug has been approved for use for patients of Kovid-19. It was found that with this medicine the patient recovers sooner and his oxygen dependence also decreases. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories offers this medicine in the form of a sachet.

Nagaland: Lockdown extended till June 11
The Nagaland government on Wednesday announced extension of the lockdown till June 18, along with some relaxations in restrictions in view of the COVID-19 situation in the state. Minister Neeba Kronu said that the decision was taken at a meeting of the State High Level Committee (HPC) to review the situation of Kovid-19, chaired by Chief Minister Niiphiu Rio, two days before the end of the current lockdown period. The lockdown period is being extended for the third time in the state. HPC spokesperson Kronu said, views of all district task forces were taken through video conferencing. It was agreed to extend the lockdown period by further easing the restrictions.
