Corona Death In Maharashtra Crossed One Lakh And 12557 New Cases In 24 Hours

The recovery rate in Maharashtra is 95.05 percent and the death rate is 1.72 percent. 185527 patients are being treated in the state. 786 new cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in Mumbai and 20 people have died. So far 710643 cases of infection have been reported in the metropolis and 14971 people have died.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has extended the restrictions like lockdown in the state till June 15. However, from June 7, there will be some relaxation in the rules of lockdown. A five-pronged plan has been implemented to ease restrictions based on the weekly COVID positivity rate and availability of oxygen beds in the state.

Cities and districts with a positivity rate of less than five per cent and oxygen bed availability of less than 25 per cent will open up completely. Restrictions of varying standards will continue in other cities and districts.

In places where the positivity rate is more than 20 percent and the oxygen bed capacity is more than 75 percent, only essential shops will remain open till 4 pm and only 15 percent employees will work in the office.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Sunday that the government is taking conscious steps in the matter of relaxing the restrictions imposed in the state due to the corona virus. He said this during a digital meeting with leading industrialists.

The state government had announced a five-tier plan from Monday to relax the restrictions in the state. In this, it has been said to be relaxed based on the weekly infection rate and the number of patients on oxygen beds. A notification in this regard has been issued on Friday night. The Chief Minister said, ‘The state government is taking steps after careful consideration.
