Cicse board asked to submit data about 12th board students

The Indian School Certificate Examination (CICSE) board has asked its affiliated schools to submit data including the average of marks obtained by class XII students in class 11 and details of marks obtained during this session.

A large section of students and parents are demanding cancellation of the examination but the board has not yet announced any decision. The 10th grade examination has already been canceled by CICSE.

In a letter to the Principals of the schools, CICSE Secretary Gerry Arathoon has said that CICSE is in the process of collecting the data of 12th standard candidates from all its schools. Therefore, you are requested to provide the information sought in relation to the candidates of class 12.

It is to be noted that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet taken any decision on the Class 12 board exams and any decision in this regard is likely to be announced by the Ministry of Education on June 1.
