Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the final result of 64th Combined Competitive Main Examination of Bihar State Services. This result will also be released on the official website by 8 pm on Sunday. At the same time, here is the list of top ten candidates who topped. According to reliable sources, with the release of the results, Bihar was to get 1465 new officers for the state service departments, but due to some reasons 11 posts remained vacant and the state could get only 1454 new officers. All these officers will be able to join the state service after successful completion of their training. Let us inform that more than four thousand candidates and their families were eagerly waiting for the final result of Bihar Public Service Examination. The commission had shortlisted 3,799 candidates for the interview who had qualified in the main written examination for 1465 posts.

Till now, the candidates were disappointed over the non-issuance of the final result of the recruitment process which started from 2018 till the passage of half a year of 2021 and were continuously requesting on social media. Let us inform that the preliminary notification for the 64th Combined Competitive Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission i.e. BPSC was issued in 2018. After this the detailed advertisement was released on 2/8/2018. And the preliminary exam was held on 16/12/2018. After that the main exam was held between 12/7/2019 to 16/7/2019 and the main exam results were released on 16/7/2020.

Let us inform that a total of 3,799 candidates had passed in the main examination this year. Thereafter successful candidates were called for interview. At the same time, the interview round was held from 1/12/2020 to 10/2/2021. About 3800 candidates were interviewed during this period for appointment to 1465 posts. Last month, on May 26, 2021 itself, a press release was issued by the Bihar Public Service Commission saying that the final result of 64th Civil Services Examination is likely on the first weekend of June 2021. It is noteworthy that in the main examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), General Hindi for 100 marks and General Studies Paper-1 and General Studies Paper-2, three such papers are taken. Both the General Study Papers are of 300 marks.
