The Central Government and all the State Governments have taken initiative to help the children of millions of lives lost due to Corona epidemic. Governments have come forward to help children who have been orphaned due to the Corona epidemic following a recent Supreme Court order. However, some state governments had already announced their level of financial support and facilities in this regard. But now steps have been taken to help children in almost all states. At the same time, the central government has also made several important announcements. It has also promised monetary assistance and various facilities to children. Under the central government’s announcement, orphaned children from Corona will be given a monthly support amount at the age of 18 under the PM-Cares for Children scheme and Rs 10 lakh from the PM Cares Fund at the age of 23. At the same time, children will be given loans for higher education and its interest will be given from PM Cares Fund. Apart from this, health insurance cover of up to 05 lakh will be given under Ayushman Bharat Yojana till the age of 18 years. Its premium will be paid by the PM Cares Fund. Also, free education of these children will also be ensured.
