The BJP said in an official statement that after reaching the Patel Nagar residence of state BJP President Adesh Gupta, Aam Aadmi Party workers attacked the houses. In the evening, suddenly the goons of the Aadmi Party ransacked and also manhandled the security guard. However, the state president was not in the house at that time.

State BJP General Secretary Harsh Malhotra condemned this entire incident and said that the new tradition of beating opponents in politics is a new gift of Aam Aadmi Party leader and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Earlier on July 11, the residence of the state president was attacked by Aam Aadmi Party goons. He said that the incident has been reported to the police. Aam Aadmi Party’s local leader Ankush Narang and his supporters are behind this incident.

Malhotra said that even political allegations and counter-allegations are fine, but the way the Aam Aadmi Party is doing new scams every day, the people of Delhi are completely fed up with it. Instead of giving relief to the people, the only job left with the government is to cover up its shortcomings and to attack the leaders of opposition parties in defense of its ministers, MLAs and leaders. He warned that if Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal continues with this policy, a befitting reply will be given by the BJP.
