Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has faced serious allegations of demanding a bribe of Rs 15 crore for settling complaints and a case registered against a builder. In this, a complaint has been lodged against eight people, including 6 policemen.

Accused of demanding bribe of 15 crores
The builder who filed the case alleges that a demand of Rs 15 crore was made from him in return for settling some of the cases and complaints registered against him. One of the police officers named in the complaint is a DCP in the Crime Branch unit of the Mumbai Police. While other policemen are posted on the rank of Inspector in different units of the Crime Branch. Two people were arrested in this case. Police is interrogating both. According to sources, the investigating officer will soon interrogate other officials related to the case.
Parambir Singh made serious allegations against Anil Deshmukh
Let us inform that former police commissioner Parambir Singh had made serious allegations of recovery of 100 crores on former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. After this case, there was a political earthquake in Maharashtra. After this allegation, Anil Deshmukh had to resign from the post of Home Minister. At the same time, Parambir Singh also had to lose his chair. The matter of recovery of Rs 100 crore had reached the Supreme Court. However, the top court had asked to move the high court.
