In Delhi, the infected started increasing rapidly from the last week of March. By the second week, an average of 16 thousand patients were being received daily and against this only 11 thousand people were getting healthy. In the third week, the number of patients coming daily has crossed 26 thousand. On April 20, 28,375 people were found infected in a single day. There was no significant change in the situation till May, but from June the second wave started slowing down and now the cases are decreasing continuously. In the last one week, only 460 patients of Corona have appeared. Earlier, between July 3 and 9, there were 598 cases and 27 deaths. The same, between June 27 and July 2, 854 people were found infected and 74 lost their lives. Therefore, new cases are continuously decreasing.

AIIMS doctor Vijay Gurjar says that corona cases and deaths are decreasing because the spread of the virus has now stopped, but it is a matter of concern that the virus is constantly changing. Cases of Delta Plus variant of Corona are also coming in many states. In such a situation, there is a need to strictly follow all the rules of Corona while being alert.
