DC vs RR: Bolt came close to breaking Praveen Kumar’s record, know how many wickets are needed

Trent Boult Record Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets in the 58th match of IPL 2022. Mitchell Marsh and David Warner were instrumental in Delhi’s victory. Both these players batted very well. Whereas a special record was registered in the name of Trent Boult from Rajasthan. Bolt has reached the third place in terms of taking most wickets in the first over of an IPL match. He left behind Zaheer Khan.

In terms of taking the most wickets in the first over of an IPL match, Bolt, along with Sandeep Sharma, reached the third place jointly. Both these bowlers have taken 13 wickets each. While Zaheer took 12 wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is on top in this matter. Bhuvneshwar has taken 20 wickets. While Praveen Kumar has taken 15 wickets. Bolt now needs three wickets to break Praveen’s record. If they do this feat in the coming matches, then Bolt will move to second place.

It is worth noting that Bolt’s IPL career so far has been excellent. He has taken 86 wickets in 73 matches. During this, his best performance has been giving 18 runs with 4 wickets. He was bought by Rajasthan for IPL 2022 for Rs 8 crore. He was earlier part of Mumbai Indians. Bolt was bought by Mumbai in IPL 2021 for Rs 2.20 crore. Boult has also played for Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders.
