Tewatia said the secret behind his and Miller’s partnership was to simulate the conditions in the practice sessions. Tewatia indicated that he recognizes his technical flaws and tries to understand the bowlers of the rival team, and will continue to improve until he becomes a full-fledged player.

Tewatia said, “I have improved a lot since the beginning of the IPL and tried to hit a lot of shots. Because the bowlers started planning and kept the ground outside the off-stump, I thought that If I execute my shots properly, then boundaries can be found. That’s why I approach the match thinking from both sides.”

He elaborated, “You have to play pre-planned shots in the death overs, but I definitely look at the decoration of the field on the field. But in the end, you just have to look at the ball and hit it. Tewatia also indicated that I focus on doing well in crisis situations so that I can finish the match.
