Anek Trailer: The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Anek has been released today. This film is a political action thriller. The issue of people living in the North-East has been raised in the film. Also, the film raises a very important question that who is an Indian and what is its definition.
The trailer of the film is of total three minutes and 12 seconds. In this, Ayushmann Khurrana is playing the role of Joshua, an agent. Which has been given the responsibility of controlling the separatists in the North-East of the country and normalizing the situation. Some separatist organizations are active in the area but one of them is Johnson who has become more active and controlling it becomes a challenge for Joshua.
In the trailer of the film, an attempt has also been made to show how the people of North-East are considered different in the country and they are often seen battling for their identity. Ayushmann Khurrana will also be seen doing some action in the film.
At the end of the trailer, Ayushmann Khurrana is seen speaking a dialogue which seems to put everyone in a dock with the intentions of the governments and the arrangements made by the security agencies. In this, Ayushmann Khurrana says, “Is it something that no one needs this piece, otherwise a small problem was solved there for so many years?”

Trailer came amid Hindi debate
There is a dialogue of Ayushmann Khurrana in the trailer of the film which is quite relevant. These days there is a debate going on in the country regarding South and North films. At the same time, there is a debate about the Hindi language. In the trailer, Ayushmann can be heard saying that if Hindi is not the measure of being an Indian, then what is? What is it that makes us a complete Indian?
Release date extended by one week
The film will hit the theaters on May 27 after pushing a week ahead to avoid a clash with Ranveer Singh-starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha. Earlier, the pair of Ayushmann and Anubhav worked in the theatrical-thriller ‘Article 15’. Anek’s trailer focuses on North East India, asking a pertinent question – what makes an Indian.
